We are startabiz4u.com, a website owned by John Eide, from Bergen, Norway. We will do a few different things on this site. We will sell products, sell services, and give advice.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with:

We do never share your data with any other company. We can guarantee that you will never get spam from any other company if you have left your details on our website. That is a guarantee we put very highly, and the only reason we would ever give your information to anyone would be in a matter of police request or of a case of national emergency.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Other than that we do not send your data to anywhere accept where you sign up with one of the services we provide, like our newsletter and mailresponder which is sent to a 3rd party website called SendInBlue, we have control of your information, and we can delete it, but if SendInBlue has a hacking attack, we can not guarantee what would happen in such a case, BUT we will do our utmost to secure your personal information. Each email sent from this server will also give you a possibility to unsubscribe, and if so, we delete your personal information on this site immediately.

How we protect your data:

We use the newest version of all our third party connections, for WordPress and plugins. This means our information is as secure as it is possible to promise online.

What data breach procedures we have in place:

If there is a data breach, we will close down the site as soon as possible, we will use a backup to set up the page again, and we will notify the people that actually have had a breach. We cannot always find out who has leaked the information, but we can let the customer of our website know. In the first place there is little or no personal information left on this site at all. It is mainly your name and email we do store on this page. This is required to be kept by WordPress when you leave a message, so we cannot ignore it, but we hope and trust that our use of spam and hacking prevention plugins help eliminate such attacks.

What third parties we receive data from:

We do not receive information from third parties, however, our customers can leave information our team can use in third party applications.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data:

We are happy to advice you that we do not do any automated decision making and/or profiling on our user data. It is simply not enough information given to have any use of such procedures.

We work closely with certain companies in the provision of the services and goods we provide for sales. We cooperate with Clickbank, and we will list further affiliate companies and others as we start using them.
